A memorial piece should feel personal, not like something pulled from a catalogue. It might be a small ornament for the Christmas tree, a photo plaque for a much-loved pet, a metal plaque for a garden, a carved timber sign for a special place, or a guest book sign for a celebration of life.
Coastal Keepsakes creates personalised memorial plaques and keepsakes from our Buderim workshop on the Sunshine Coast. This collection includes engraved metal plaques, slate photo plaques, timber memorial signs, carved wooden plaques, angel wing ornaments, baby memorial ornaments, pet memorial pieces and memorial tree guest book signs.
Each piece is made to order and can be customised with names, dates, short messages, photos, artwork, silhouettes, paw prints, meaningful wording or location details, depending on the product and material. Some memorials are designed for outdoor remembrance spaces, while others are better suited to indoor display, memory boxes, sympathy gifts or keepsake ornaments.
Choosing the right memorial piece usually comes down to where it will be placed and how you want it to feel. Slate and metal plaques suit garden areas and more permanent displays. Timber memorial signs feel warm and natural. Ornaments and smaller keepsakes are ideal when you want something gentle, personal and easy to hold onto.
If you are unsure what wording to use, which material suits best, or whether your photo or artwork will work, send it through before ordering. We can help confirm what is possible and guide you toward the memorial style that best suits the person, pet or place being remembered.
